Teachers have been using video in classrooms for many decades. These days, with a proliferation of video-hosting websites (like YouTube), these resources are more accessible than ever. Often, however, teachers and students have limited access to videos hosted online due to school filters and blocked sites. In response, several websites have sprung up that are expressly dedicated to hosting videos for educational use. This week, you will look at several of these sites and think about ways to integrate their use into our work. You'll explore YouTube, TeacherTube, and iCue - 3 video sites that offer various ways to use video in the classroom. Let's get started!
